Friday

Street party and produce market

Everything begins on Friday afternoon, with a community concert and produce market, right in the heart of town - Melville Street! From 4.00pm, food and craft artisans from all over the Goulburn Valley will have their wares available, including fine wine and cheese, fresh fruit, seasonal vegetables, nuts and preserves, as well as fine pottery, textiles, and jewellery, and much much more!!

Music will kick off at 6.00pm, with the best local bands being joined by a select few festival performers in a 'sneak peek' of what the festival weekend will have in store. Bring along the kids, a blanket for a picnic, and definately do not forget the dancing shoes!

Saturday

Broken Creek Market

Country folk love a good market! Maybe this is why the Broken Creek Market is such a long standing tradition in Numurkah. Starting at 9.00 on the banks of the Broken Creek, here you'll find books, hardware, underwear, more local produce, and plenty more! The festival weekend market will feature special performances by local theatre groups.

Sunday

The Long Slow Brunch in the Park

Beneath the shade of the eucalyptus tree on the banks of the Broken Creek, an 8 course brunch of local ingredients will be served by a local 'celebrity' chef over a very slow two hours. The brunch has been a huge festival highlight, and with the addition of music and new guest speakers, you'll have to get in quick. Tickets are $40, are strictly limited, and will be available from the Numurkah Visitor Information Centre from September 21.

PLUS!

For those early risers, and people who just can't cram enough music into their weekend, the Festival will feature live, local buskers along Melville street in the mornings, before the music kicks off in the venues. So put your bacon in a roll, grab a chair, and get out in the street to enjoy the best musical talent the goulburn valley has to offer, totally FREE!!
